Is this a private trip or a group tour?

Your holiday is arranged as a private trip, not a group tour. You’ll have your own hotels, itinerary, and support throughout, with the overall journey designed around you. While some individual activities or transport may be shared with other travellers, your holiday is not part of a fixed group tour, and there are no strangers joining your journey day-to-day.

Are flights included?

No — flights are not included in our packages. This includes both international flights and any internal flights within Asia. 


This gives you the freedom to choose the airline, flight times, route, and travel class that suit you best.


After you book, we’ll collect your flight details and arrange the rest of your trip around them, including airport pick-ups, drop-offs, hotel check-ins, and transfers.


Our free Flight Finder service is available to search for the best flight options for your trip and send them to you, saving you the hassle of comparing flights yourself.

What is Asani Travel?

Asani Travel is an independent travel company offering private, fully arranged holidays across Asia – complete with handpicked 4–5★ hotels, guided experiences and all transfers and logistics taken care of.

What’s included in each package?

Every Asani package includes:

Each trip is designed to give you complete peace of mind from the moment you arrive. Your hotels, transfers, tours, and key travel details are carefully arranged in advance, so you can simply enjoy the experience without worrying about the logistics.

Who is Asani Travel for?

Asani Travel is for travellers who want to experience Asia with confidence, comfort, and everything carefully arranged in advance. Our holidays are created for those who want the freedom to enjoy the journey, without the stress of planning every hotel, transfer, tour, route, and local detail themselves.


Most of our ready-made packages are designed for two travellers, but through our Create Your Own Trip service, we can also arrange holidays for solo travellers, families, and groups.

Are prices per person, and is it based on sharing a room?

Yes — the prices shown on our packages are per person based on two travellers sharing a room unless stated otherwise. Twin or double bedding can be requested.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance where possible. Last-minute trips may still be possible, depending on availability.

Can you help with special occasions (honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries)?

Absolutely — from room upgrades and dinners to small surprises. Tell us what you have in mind and we can help.

Do I need vaccinations?

Vaccination advice varies by destination and personal circumstances. We recommend checking NHS Fit for Travel or speaking with your GP before travelling.

What if my package requires internal flights?

If your selected package requires internal flights, this will be clearly shown in the itinerary and on the booking page. Internal flights are not included in the package price, so you’ll need to book these separately.


After booking, we’ll collect your internal flight details so we can arrange your airport transfers smoothly around them. Our free Flight Finder service can also help you find suitable internal flight options for your trip.

What about dietary requirements?

Please let us know about any dietary requirements before you travel. We’ll pass them on to the relevant hotels, restaurants, and tour providers wherever needed.


Availability can vary by destination and experience, but we’ll do our best to guide you towards suitable options throughout your trip.

Can you accommodate mobility needs?

In many cases, yes. Please let us know about any mobility needs before booking, and we’ll do our best to adapt the hotels, pace, transfers, and activities where possible.


Some destinations or experiences may involve boats, uneven ground, steep steps, or limited accessibility, but we’ll make this clear and help plan the trip around your needs.

Are the guides English-speaking?

Yes — all tours include professional, English-speaking guides (or your preferred language where available).

What if my flight time changes or is delayed?

If your flight time changes or your flight is delayed, just send us the updated details as soon as possible. We’ll adjust your airport transfer where needed and keep things running as smoothly as possible.


Drivers will track flight delays where possible, and you’ll also have 24/7 support while travelling.

Do I need a visa?

Visa requirements vary by nationality and destination. We’ll point you to the latest guidance and any e-visa steps, but you’re responsible for obtaining visas where required.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance from the moment you book, so you’re protected before and during your trip.

What’s not included?

Flights are not included in our packages. This includes both international flights and any internal flights within Asia.


Travel insurance, visas if required, tips, personal spending, and any optional upgrades or add-on experiences are also not included.

When can I travel?

Our ready-made packages are available in set months, with flexible start dates within that month. For example, if a Vietnam package runs in September, you can choose the 11 days in September that work best for you.


The package price stays the same regardless of which start date you choose within that month.


Our Create Your Own Trip service is available year-round, allowing us to build a holiday around your preferred dates.

Do you offer trips for solo travellers?

Yes. While most of our ready-made packages are designed for two travellers, we can also arrange holidays for solo travellers through our Create Your Own Trip service.


Solo trips can be tailored around your preferred destination, dates, pace, hotel style, and experiences.

Can more than two people travel together?

Yes. Most of our ready-made packages are designed for two travellers, but we can also create tailored trips for different group sizes through our Create Your Own Trip service.

Why should I trust Asani Travel?

We’re a small, independent UK-based company that genuinely cares. Our founder built Asani Travel after exploring Asia for years, and our goal is to make your trip feel effortless, personal, and unforgettable — just like we’d plan for our own families. No big call centres, no pressure selling — just honest, beautifully arranged holidays.

Is it safe to travel to these countries?

We only offer trips to destinations we know well and trust. Every experience is carefully planned with local experts, and we’re always up to date with safety advice from the UK Foreign Office. If anything changes, you’ll be the first to know.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy?

We understand that plans can change. If you cancel before your final balance is due, only your deposit is lost. Your final balance is due 12 weeks before your start date.


If you cancel after your final balance has been paid, cancellation charges may apply depending on how close you are to travel and what has already been booked with our suppliers.


All cancellation terms are shown clearly before you book, so there are no surprises. We also strongly recommend taking out travel insurance from the moment you secure your trip, so you’re protected if your circumstances change.

Are my payments protected?

Yes. Customer payments are protected by Financial Failure Insurance (FFI), giving peace of mind in the event of supplier financial failure. In the unlikely event of disruption, your money is secure.

How does the booking process work?

Once you choose your trip and arrival date, you can secure your package with either a deposit or full payment. You’ll then receive instant confirmation to let you know your trip has been secured.


After booking, we’ll contact you to collect your flight details, so we can align your airport transfers, check-ins, and key travel arrangements with your arrival time. 


Once your flight details are confirmed, we’ll prepare your personalised final itinerary, including hotel information, tour timings, pick-up details, and key contacts.


Before you travel, you’ll also receive your Asani Welcome Pack, including a printed itinerary and a selection of thoughtful travel gifts.

How do I pay?

You can choose to pay in full or secure your trip with a deposit at checkout. If you choose to pay a deposit, your remaining balance is due 12 weeks before your start date.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, and all payments are processed securely online.

What if I have questions before booking?

If you have any questions before booking, we’d be happy to help. You can call us during our opening hours for the quickest and most personal support, or contact us by email or message if you prefer.

How are the packages such good value?

Our packages are built to offer a carefully arranged Asia experience without unnecessary mark-ups. By working directly with trusted hotels, tour providers, guides, and transport partners, we’re able to keep costs sensible while still focusing on quality, comfort, and well-planned experiences.

We keep our pricing clear, avoiding hidden extras, and design each trip around genuine value.

Can we customise an existing itinerary?

Yes. Our set packages can be adjusted to suit you, whether you’d like to add experiences, swap activities, include extra free time, or make changes to the pace of the trip.


If you’d prefer something completely tailored, our Create Your Own Trip service lets us design a private itinerary around your ideas, dates, budget, and travel style.

You’ll have 24/7 support throughout your trip, so help is always available if you need it. Whether you have a question, need help with arrangements, or simply want reassurance while travelling, we’ll be on hand to support you.
